Bolton South East MP welcomes plans for new Courthouse in Bolton

Dr Brian Iddon has welcomed today’s announcement by the Ministry of Justice that a new courthouse will be built in Bolton.

Dr Iddon said,

“I am delighted with today’s announcement which is a fitting end to the campaign run by myself, my fellow MPs and the Bolton News. The new courthouse will have eight magistrates’ courts and two crown courts and demonstrates this Governments commitment to improving the Justice System across the country.”

The new building is expected to be completed within the next 5 years and will contain up-to-date witness and victim support facilities which will improve the publics experience of the Justice System in Bolton.
