Dr Brian Iddon MP Calls on Young People to share their thoughts on issues that matter

Bolton South East MP, Brian Iddon is urging young people in his constituency to share their thoughts on issues that matter through a consultation currently being run by Labour Party Vice Chair for Youth, Dawn Butler MP.

Dr Iddon said,

“In the 2005 General Election, only 37% of 18-24 year old voted, I want to see more young people taking part in the democratic process and would encourage those who are interested to look at www.mylifemysay.co.uk and let us know their thoughts about the issues that matter to them.”

Responses to the consultation will inform the work done by Youth Vice Chair Dawn Butler MP as part of her campaign to ensure the voices of younger people are listened to within the political arena.
