Dr Brian Iddon MP Supports Workers Memorial Day

Dr Brian Iddon MP has lent his support to Workers Memorial Day today by signing an Early Day Motion calling on the Government to increase resources for the prevention of ill-health and injury in the workplace as recommended by a recent report from the Work and Pensions Select Committee.

Dr Iddon said,

“On Workers Memorial Day it is important to remember those who have died or been injured simply as a result of carrying out their every day employment. I would like to encourage all workplaces to nurture a culture of effective health and safety management to prevent injury and death in the workplace.”
