|
26th June 2008 Bolton South East MP, Brian Iddon has marked the inaugural Bone Cancer Awareness Week by supporting an Early Day Motion in Parliament. Dr Iddon said “I am pleased to support the Bone Cancer Research Trust in their first awareness raising week. Bone Cancer occurs mainly in children and young people and the key to treatment is being able to catch it early. This means it is absolutely vital that GPs and members of the public are aware of the symptoms.” Bone Cancer Awareness Week runs from 21st to 28th June and is being promoted by the Bone Cancer Research Trust, a charity dedicated to research into the causes and treatment of bone cancer.
